Colback is one of the key products and a premium product that focuses on efficiency and a sound price/performance ratio.
The Colback concept is developed for applications in the higher-end market of various sectors, where demanding or specific requirements must be met during processing and in the final product.
Colback is a unique thermally bonded spunlaid nonwoven, made from
bi-component filament with a polyester core and a polyamide (nylon 6) skin.
The polyester core ensures good thermal and mechanical stability; the polyamide skin functions as a binder and has a good affinity to a variety of coatings and dyestuffs. The thermally bonded filaments are welded together at the intersection points using heat and pressure, without the addition of any chemical binder agents. The filaments are uniformly bonded over the entire surface and throughout the fleece.
Although polyester/polyamide bi-component filaments are still the
most commonly used for Colback, other possibilities including
polyester/co-polyester, and other combinations may be used for specific projects.
